MEET JILL

Hi! I am Jill Wallace. When I was fifteen, I started working at a laundromat in Kankakee, IL . For seven years I kept the laundromat clean as well as dropped-off laundry. I enjoyed so many aspects of the job that from the age of twenty-two my dream was to own my own laundromat.

Although my background is in accounting (I worked for a CPA in Hot Springs, AR for eighteen year and currently have my own bookkeeping business), the love of laundry still stirs. Over the years I have tried to either buy an existing laundromat or researched building one from the ground up, but the expense was too frightening to me.

About four months ago a vision came to me..."What if I started a pickup and delivery service for laundry?" I discussed it with my husband, C.R., and he thought it was a perfect idea! We built a “mini” laundromat in our home and I am now ready to take a load off people who don't like to do laundry. Or maybe you have a washer or dryer on the fritz and you need me to help you out for a while. Do you know a new mother who is too tired to do her laundry? Give her the gift of taking the load off her shoulders and let me do the cleaning.

I will pick up your laundry from your home then sort, pretreat, wash, dry and fold. Once it is ready I will load it into a convenient bag and bring it back to you all within 24-48 hours.
